  • Homemade soap is more moisturizing than most commercially produced soap because it contains a larger amount of glycerin, which is the part of soap that helps to moisturize the skin. Glycerin is a natural by product of the soap making process. Many commercial soap companies remove the glycerin from their soaps and sell it for additional profit. Homemade soap retains the naturally produced glycerin, thus making it better for the skin.

  • The soaps are scented and colored using only the finest essential oils and naturally derived ingredients, such as oatmeal, kelp powder, flower petals, etc. I buy organic when the materials are available.

  • All of the soaps contain natural beeswax, harvested by hand from my own hives and a close neighbor's. The bees are maintained in a very natural state with little human interference and very minimal chemical use. Beeswax contributes moisturizing and hardening properties to the bars. The beeswax helps to make the bars very long lasting.

I love this soap so much! It is great for my skin and the environment. I love to give it away as gifts. I buy all of the scents, they are all really great. I am looking foward to new scents.
