Bio-Bags are bio-degradable bags intended for a variety of uses. BuyGreenNow carries two Bio-Bag products, the Kitchen Waste Bags and the Pet Waste Bags. A key factor in our decision to carry these products is understanding how long it takes for the Bio-bags to degrade into the environment, under various conditions. To gain this understanding, we conducted tests that measure the decomposition rates. I know it's kind of nerdy stuff, but we believe somebody's got to do it... For the first test, we focused on the Pet Waste Bags, since we believe they are most likely to end up in a whole bunch of places... This test is in two parts, the first part sets the test up, and begins the bio-degrading; the second part, which is done approximately 90 days after the first, analyzes the decomposition rates, and reports the results.
